My story....
Duncan
CEOI joined our family company on 5th April, 1995, as Operations Manager and have worked up through the business to my current position of CEO. I sit on the board of AH Worth with specific responsibility, amongst other things, for our Farms, Health & Safety and property management. I am also a board member of several other organisations including Manor Fresh and South Holland Internal Drainage Board.
One area in which I am very proud is the complete absence of politics within our organisation. We operate an open and fresh culture, allowing us to continue to invest in innovation and our people (one which is never ending).
I think of myself as incredibly lucky to be involved in my family company and therefore continue to thrive on the everyday challenges that farming and food brings. My prime goal moving forward is to build and enhance on the culture of our business in line with the Worth Family Values (SPIRIT) and work with all our colleagues’ so as to move forward as one teamA proud heritageDuncan

Technical DirectorI began my career in produce over 35 years ago, straight from college. I’m proud that I started as a QC in a potato packing plant checking the quality of raw materials and finished products. I progressed through several quality and technical roles and joined AH Worth in 2009. I’m now Technical Director and (with my team) work hard to ensure that food safety and quality are at the heart of what we do.
Produce expertise is key to my role, but I love the fact that I can still learn something new about the humble potato or other veg on an almost daily basis (in fact I’m a bit of a ‘potato nerd’). I’m looking forward to continuing to help steer the business via my current position as it continues to develop and grow.A proud heritageEd

Quality ManagerI joined the business in 2007 and am now Quality Manager for Primary and Intake. AH Worth is really good place to work as it provides numerous opportunities to gain new experiences and chances to develop. I started on the production line as Quality Controller and progressed through a number of the positions such as Line leader, Team Leader or QA Assistant before ending up in my current role.
Where do I aim to be in the future? We never know what could happen, but my plan is to develop even more.A proud heritageMariola

Senior BuyerI started working here in summer 2000 as a student while still at Uni, initially as a Trading Assistant in December 2001 while finishing my Degree part time.
Since then, I have had several varied roles and witnessed many changes, which have led to my current position of Senior Buyer for Potatoes. Each season is different which makes the world of potatoes a diverse and exciting world to be involved in.
I have always been given a lot of opportunity to learn and develop within AH Worth which is why I have enjoyed working here for so long. I have no plans to move and want to develop myself up the chain and help to further develop the family business.A proud heritageLil

Head of PackagingI joined the business in July 1999 straight from College at the entry level as a standard line Operative to fund my driving licence.
After holding numerous roles including FLT Operative, Quality Control, Technical and Purchasing to name a few, I found my way into the world of Packaging in 2002 as the Store Co-ordinator and have never looked back. I now stand as the Head of Packaging.
I enjoy and somewhat thrive on the ever-changing demands that heading up the Packaging Department brings and the multitude of fields and people this exposes me to.
I enjoy the endless task of enhancing the world of Packaging within the Business, strengthening the Company’s standing in the market, which given the current climate is pivotal to success. “The right product, in the right packaging”.A proud heritageNick
