The autumn and spring temperatures in Spain are too high for optimal spinach quality aligned with the UK season. To address this, we have Emmett Italia SRL, established in 2016, that contributes to the year round supply of spinach into the UK.
Our Italian farm, positioned 250 miles north of our Spanish location, experiences cooler autumns and springs. Consequently, a significant portion of our crops, specifically conventional spinach, is cultivated in Italy during these seasons.
Emmett Murcia Agricultura S.L.
Our Spanish farm, Emmett Murcia SL, is based at El Algar, near the city of Murcia.
In Spain, we have Conventional and Organic cropping, supplying our products during the winter when demand in the UK is at its highest.
We have our own factory for cooling, consolidation and despatch that includes robotic tray filling for our spinach. Product is sent to the UK and across mainland Europe to a variety of customers.
