    The Role

    To work effectively and efficiently and in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) Guidelines to fulfil an essential role in the monitoring and control over quality and food safety.

    Main Duties but not limited to:

    • Positive Release Harford Checks to ensure all the positive release checks are completed.

    • Quality Checks – to conduct quality checks on raw material and finished product to the specification.

    • Shelf-Life Assessment to carry out daily shelf-life assessment including gas level checks.

    • Monitoring raw material condition in storage.

    • Concessions / Hold to raise concessions as appropriate for any non-conforming product or process and to place on hold any material either waiting for a concession or awaiting disposal.

    • Foreign body control.

    • Equipment Calibration – to carry out daily/weekly/monthly equipment calibrations including scales, thermometers, callipers, magnet etc. as per procedure.

    • Micro and Pesticide sample collection, swabbing and sample submission. To submit samples on the lab portal.

    • Internal Audits – to carry out Minin GMP and glass audits as per schedule and any others as required.

    The Role

    To support the IT Manager in maintaining servers and laptops used in farming and fresh produce packaging operations across multiple sites in UK, Spain and Italy

    Main Duties but not limited to:

    • Respond to IT support requests and provide solutions in a timely manner.

    • Install, configure and troubleshoot hardware and software.

    • Maintain and update technical documentation.

    • Assist with network setup and maintenance.

    The Role

    In summary, the main purpose of the role is to support the Financial Controller within Central Finance by managing the Sales and Purchase ledgers for all companies within the group.

    The key areas of responsibility are –

    Sales Ledgers

    • Ensure invoices are raised in a timely fashion

    • Ensure credit notes are fully approved before being processed on the ledger

    • Ensure cash is posted and allocated to the customer account

    • Assist with query resolution and escalate issues where necessary

    • Ensure General Managers are kept informed of Aged Debtors and participate in the collection of debt where necessary

    • Escalate overdue balances so that external assistance can be sought.

    • Update Customer Master Data in line with agreed processes

    Purchase Ledgers

    • Ensure purchase invoices are processed in a timely fashion

    • Ensure coding of invoices is accurate and updated as necessary

    • Agree vendors to be included in the payment runs with the ledger clerk

    • Take steps to reduce unposted invoices at Month End.

    • Update Vendor Master Data in line with agreed processes

    All Ledgers

    • Month End review of ledgers and ensure they are in balance (pending processing of invoices) prior to close.

    • Closing of ledgers across all companies and saving of Aging reports. 

    Other Tasks

    • Reconciliation of ledgers and submission of data to HSBC on a weekly basis.

    • Review payment / collection terms across the ledgers and advise on changes where possible

    • Act as a point of contact for the auditor with queries on invoices / payments

    • Ensure VAT registration checks are completed on a regular basis

    • Review cash promises from ledger clerks and feed into cashflow files.

    • Business Partner for IT, reviewing costs at Month End

    The Role
    We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Line Operative to join our Team in Fosdyke

    You will play a vital role within our business, working on a production line and in a production team to ensure products are made to high standards. You will be working in a small / line team ensuring Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures are always followed, working closely with the line leader and Quality Control to achieve the best we can and supply the customer with the standard of product they require.

    Duties to include:

    • Inspection, grading and packing of produce

    • Packing and stacking into containers

    • Ensuring the product is correctly stacked and wrapped

    The is an entry-level position and you do not require any experience as full training will be provided.

    The Role
    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our engineering team at our site in Fosdyke, working 18:00 - 06:00 on a 223 shift pattern.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high level of engineering services and technical support to the business, with focus on reducing downtime proactively using the sites PM software.

    Duties to include:

    • The execution of day-to-day maintenance tasks, including line improvements

    • The provision and implementation of solutions in line with the engineering strategy to reduce downtime

    • Use of root cause analysis to determine the underlying reasons behind problems and failures, seeking to identify areas for improvement in plant performance

    The Role: To act as a working supervisor on the rigs and planting (in the off season) through all of the crops, ensuring safety quality and cost is controlled. Covering the role of Rig Operative as necessary and stepping up as Harvest Manager and assuming their duties as necessary to provide support and act as holiday cover.

    Key tasks:

    • To act as a working supervisor on the rigs or planting team, ensuring safety, quality and cost is controlled

    • Co-ordinating the daily harvest plan, volumes, size grading and quality

    • Manage labour to standard head count, co-ordinating with the agencies to ensure the required headcount is available to meet demand

    • Ensure all staff are compliant with H&S, Technical and PPE standards

    • Monitor daily attendance, record labour via time sheets or Harvest Master (crop dependant), monitoring hours so as not to exceed 120 in a 2 week period, control monitor and log holidays (60 per week)

    • Monitor and report on the daily/weekly performance

    • Report and investigate accidents, near misses, damage or faults in an effective timely manner

    • Coordinate and communicate field to yard logistics, assist the Harvest Manager with the planning of the logistics. Assist with the loading and unloading of the rigs and equipment as necessary

    • Ensure GMP standards within the field, canteens, field housekeeping, parking and access is maintained

    • Coach and train and develop the team, ensure the team are compliant with the organisations training and that the records are kept up to date.

    • Assist in the planning and moving of the harvest rigs during field moves

    • We operate a modern fleet of Fendt and New Holland tractors equipped with GPS and this role will encompass all areas of the business including Cultivations, Drilling and Harvesting.

    • To follow all H&S systems including Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work and report any areas of concern

    • Ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standards

    • Assist with tasks such as yard and equipment maintenance

    • Aid other areas of the farming operations if required

    • To maintain and keep up to date records required by the Farm Manager to provide full traceability and ensure audit compliance etc.
